March 28th update

just spent 4 hours washing and waxing the car after realizing there was absolutely no wax on the car. i even waxed and sealed my wheels and every chrome piece. detailed the whole inside. im starting to look around for some parts. i definitely want a cold air intake and dual exhaust as my first choices. just ordered a new DUB Edition badge for the trunk lid to replace the old one. i was thinking about taking off the charger emblem and finding an old script style badge that sticks by adhesive. ive been looking around for small little parts like original washer nozzles, new key fob, etc.

just fyi especially for cleaning purposes those rims are most likely plastic. I work on chargers all day and on all of chryslers newer cars and trucks the chrome rims is actually called "chrome cladding" which is their bs way of saying you have a piece of chrome plastic glued to your aluminum rim. so just watch what you put on them some hd wheel cleaners will mess them up.

It came to me with the vent on it so I kinda have no choice. It grew on me and I don't think it would look the same without. I like it

I don't get all the hate... plenty of idiots spend the 25-30k on an SXT then do all this **** to it anyways (chrome wheels, grille, DVD player etc). And while its not my style, I won't discredit anyone for getting a good deal. You'd easily spend 3-6k on the stuff this car came with stock.
Whats the big deal? Yeah, it's not a sports car, but guess what?! Neither is a Charger SRT8... it's a 4500lb land yacht with a big motor. Why bother to get 8-12mpg with that, when it doesn't handle and doesn't do much other than cruise on the highway well. You can cruise on the highway fine with a V6.... better MPG for sure.

when i first read about the car, it said all the options in the package came close to $5K but you got it all for 2K less. id really like to clear up that as of now, i havent done anything to it besides the front plate and new headlight bulbs. everything you see on the car (besides the fender grills and door handles, original owner put on) this is how the car comes from the factory. i payed $10K less than original price ($32K) with only 16,xxx miles on it. soon i will be putting flowmasters true duals on it and a CAI. this engine is plenty power for me right now. but thanks everyone for the positive feedback

No, they don't.
Not compared the the C6 corvettes or used 335/135s or the used M3s in the price range they don't.
They're heavy and they show it.

comparing a large sedan to a m3 or 335 or vette. not a fair comparison.....for 30k i could get a big truck that handles like...well a big truck. but not a fair comparison.

I don't understand all the hate either, if you're happy with it than that's all that counts, OP.

That said, if you've got nothing nice to post, don't post here. This is a journal, not a place for debating one car against another, nor what he "should have" gotten instead of the DUB. Play nice.
