Is it better to try and fail or to not try at all?

I know another guy who smacked up a car practicing <insert motorsport>... I think his name was <insert any racer here>.
Granted it was silly to do it in a residential neighborhood, but at lease he didn't have to get it towed.

In 03 I bought a brand new R6 with the intention of throwing it down the track, which I did several times...
Of course it was race prepped. Fiberglass body, etc...

Im rebiulding the engine and trans now, its gonna be the fastest car in the world. And I got a CF hood with vents all over it to allow the next engine to blow up and exit through the hood.
