I dont have any pictures of my first car, but it was a Saab 900 turbo. Im would love to get the 92-x as a daily. Ive been waiting years for that to come out. But i think ima aim for an audi S4

HP R5'S powdercoated black 2 inch lip 18x8 all the way around. 38mm offset (boo) 6 inch backspacing. The powdercoat on the back two rims was chipped by sears the day before christmas while getting two tires put on. Still waiting for my money from that.

Are those replica SSR Proffesor's or are they the real deal? I ask because they look really good and I wanted to know if they were the rota version.

only the SE model S14s are 5 lug .......and RBxx engine should only weigh a little more than 100lbs over an SR20DET....which, in the grand scheme of things can be compensated for by an experienced suspension tuner

OBEEWON.....its nice to see another S chassis member will be joining me this season on the road racing courses .......any particular reason why you want the very overpriced RB26DETT which is that much more difficult to swap into an S chassis car over an RB25DET?

where are you located in philly?

Late,
Daniel

exactly, I'd give up a lil bit of balance for a more tractable power band and those sweet ass RB engine noises anyday. That extra 100lbs is what a usdm 240sx is carrying in its nose anyway with KA, and all the headlight motors and bumper support and all that crap, so its not gonna turn the car into a pig. I just don't wanna have to pay for the RB, haha

But for the cost of that RB, you could buy a lot of other road race essentials. Like a monster cooling system, an accusump, roll cage, quality coil overs, diff...

Late,
Daniel

My sentiments exactly. The Ka was heavier than my SR and I didnt feel too much handling improvement. If one were to get a carbon fiber hood and a few other items to lighten the car then really tune the suspension along with the right wheel and tire package and a good driver (the best upgrade available ;) there wont be a difference due to the wieght.

As far as wanting the RB26 as apposed to the other RB's i dont have a particular reason besides not many people are willing to do such a swap. But
twin turbo's give me goosebumps. I saw the Tien S15 with the RB26DETT in it and that made me want it even more. Even tho they modified the firewall and pushed the engine back about 5 inches for balance (which makes it non JGTC legal) i dont think it will be too hard to stuff it in the S14 with the McKinney mounts and drive shaft.

But also I aim high so if i miss my goal ill fall to the next best thing the RB25.
Ive heard that there are kits to make the RB20 a 2.8, but I still cant find them. Have you seen them?

Im located in Cheltenham right over the city limits.
