Rats huh ? that 37 Ford is a fiberglass body. Rat Rods are the best things out there, find a rusty old car or truck body fab p a frame, get a motor & trans, rear, front end slap that **** together and run the balls out of it, screw the paint just leave it bare. no radios, power windows,locks, cruise, a/c or anything, Bare bones is all you need.

not ever Rat needs to be Rust and primer. some guys do the Satin finish known as Hot Rod Flatz. then is you go all the way you miss the Rat rod name and go right to street rod or custom rod. if ya wanna learn more visit www.ruffrodders.com or check out the rumblers car club thats based in NY or even Aces and Eights car club

yep !. these have nonthing in common with those euro wannabes. Rat Rods are Pre 65 cars & trucks. Rat Rod owners are one-of-a-kind people too, sporting more of the 50's hot rodder look, with the slicked hair, tight shirts and the girls with tats and poodle skirts (some atleast)

im not reading through all 3 pages but this **** is driving me nuts with all these cars that are made to look like something they are not. if you want something rusted go track something down instead of getting it painted. to me the point of a car like this is to build it with parts you have sitting around or get on the cheap not spend crazy amounts of cash and painting it to look like its been left outside for years. sorry for the bitchin but its becoming this huge big fad

spend the time and READ, then you will see that i said that Rats are Barebones built from spare parts and junk yard finds
