It would undoubtedly be easier on the transmisison as it would spin, versus hook up ;)

If I though the car could take it I'd definitely do the RWD swap. I'm pretty sure something would break.

I think our lowest Dyno day HP was 9x hp, via a 2.2 Cavalier one year...

My 04 Cavalier has a 2.2 also but its the newer version. It be funny to run that on the dyno but I rather bring my regal lol.

My friend has a 96 Cavy with the 2.2. If you guys are willing to do a free dyno for him he will run it hah.

I could also bring my 88 eurosport with 243K and its been sitting for 8+ months. Still runs

Wonder if we could beat your record of the lowest HP dyno run heh.

Current mod list from the regal site:

ZZP Ported Gen III SC with 2.7” Pulley, Northstar TB, ZZP Ported LIM, ZZP stage III Intercooler, Frozen Boost FMHE, Comp VS Cam & 105 Springs, Viton Valve Seals, 42.5 Injectors, PRJ Gen II Fuel Rails & Racetronix Fuel Pump with HD Harness, TOG Headers with 3” Catted Downpipe, ZZP 3” Dual Stainless Cat-back, Dynotech Stage II Racing Transmission, 3.29 Final Drive, 2750 stall converter, GTP Engine Cradle Mounts, MSPv2 Poly Front Motor Mounts, JMB 4” FWI, Autolite 104’s, 180* Thermostat, AGX Struts, Vogtland Springs, GMPP Handing Upgrade, Moog Endlinks, 154K original stock block and heads.

I dynoed around 320WHP last year with a 3.0" pulley and no wideband tuning. I was hardcore lean back then during WOT runs so I was knocking and loosing power.

Now I am running on a 2.7" pulley and much better tune so I hope to hit 350WHP but i bet it will be just shy of that. If I went with the next level up Cam, it be much easier to hit that 350WHP mark. The car sure feels much more powerful then it was last year so I will just cross my fingers.

It went well, however the filler neck gasket got tore during the process. Put it in, had to change the wiring (IIRC) onit, and it works great.

direct swap, just had to replace the stock check valve and hat on the pump in the basket, but cut my wires, put on spades, plugged them in, jammed in the hose, destroyed my fuel filler neck gromet waiting for a new one viola!
