This entire issue, IMO, isn't precisely over the dog-fighting. It's over the fact that Americans are stupid enough to just turn a blind eye to an athlete that commits a crime -- just because they want their team to win. What does that say about the general population? That they value the ability to brag about their team's victory in whatever game, over a little something called MORALS? It infuriates me.

2nd biggest FAIL in franchise history..... only signing and then re-signing McUseless is a bigger FAIL.

Let's go PATS!!! (I seriously mean that, I'm not just saying it to piss eagles fans off)

I base my opinion on a court an judge who decided his punishmet. Someone Is paid to decide punishments for crimes and after they are allowed back to society that's how this works. So someone decided his punishment he served it now he can get back to his life.

you people need to seperate his personal issues from his football career....

AND

you can stop rooting for the eagles since you clearly weren't fans in the first place.

its all bull****.

its sickening that this is the norm for these crimes. athletes should be held to a higher standard... or at least to the same standard as the rest of us.

honestly, who in this country would picket stallworth going to jail for 20 years? or vick never being allowed into the nfl again?

i guarantee both players get picketed for playing. i don't get why justice isn't being served just because they're famous

But he served his time. Do you feel it is necessary to punish him forever? What if you did something wrong, served your time, learned your lesson? Would you want people to forgive you? I sure hope so.

Being an NFL football player isn't a privileged, get real dude! It's a job, a career. If you have the skills a team wants you get a job offer and you either accept or decline. Seriously, you are embarrassing yourselves by trying to make this look like anything other than what it is. PETA and every other animal loving association should butt out of this because people can change. He lost all of his money. I have more money in the bank than he does. He lives with his mum. He paid his dues. Humans aren't built from day one with certain tendencies/behavioral factors. They are learned over time and they can also be corrected. Stop being such shallow ponds and learn to grown yourselves.

The Captain, you are a god damn mod. Clean this thread up like the Waste Management boys do to my technician's dump every Wednesday.

what lesson did he learn?

he can fight, torture and kill tons of dogs... and still get paid millions?

he hasn't proved yet that he's learned his lesson. plenty of people go to jail for 10 years, get out and repeat their crimes

Lol, now you're going to start comparing members of various LA gangs with a very competent person who got in trouble for violating a federal law that had become LAW ONLY A MONTH BEFORE HIS CONVICTION? Give me a break. I thought you were smarter than this.
