because the car i own determines my driving ability...

I wouldnt drive it. It's hideous. Dont care the horsepower.

I think its fine that people dont like it and think its hideous, over done, etc. but I think all you guys/girls calling it ricey are wrong. It's not rice at all. its fast and flashy. albeit, probably a dyno queen, but fast nonetheless.

Also, ALL body shops into car modding make these kind of flashy cars to draw in customers. I'm almost 99% sure that most real enthusiasts are only a very small percentage of the population and most people that think what modded cars are like think of cars like this because of Hot Import Nights, Fast and Furious, etc.

Truth^^^^

that supra is way too well done to function as anything other than a dyno queen show car. Idk, I like the car alot. But im not a big fan of amazing cars that are built so well and are so perfect that their owners just wind up looking at them instead of really driving them. I see that as a waste. My neighbor used to have a Gallardo, and he drove it like once every 2 months. he sold it after a year and a half. Cars of any sort are worthless unless they are really driven. If you want to look at cars, take pictures or buy paintings or scale models of them. Like wtf is that big ass turbo doing on this car??? really, this car probly sits around most of its life as a shop display. That turbo has probly seen real boost less than 30 times.....ie, its a waste of money to do something like that to a show car. Whoever does buy this supra either has alot of reworking to do to the car, or is spending almost 20k on something they will never really use. I say its a good buy for someone who wants to just walk into an insanely fast car or a ready show car without doing anything themselves, but for me, thatd leave me with a kind of empty feeling.

I don't see how this is a "waste of money" compared to ANY other car... Unless you race your car for a living, than it can easily be argued that all the money you have spent on ANY car you own, is a waste of money.

I don't think this thing is dyno queen. The ratcheting down, and torque twist on the dyno would be scary. Instead of looking at the numbers on the screen they would be looking at where the body lines used to be for cracking..

Great car, my only complaint is that its all molded. If you do anything with it, bye bye body panel molds and about 10 Grand in custom paint and body..... Great show car trailer queen.

But still 20K car, rip the molder aero off, new subtle aero, paint, and seats...... a bad ass street beast MK4 for under 30K

Now if they had a 180hp 1.8L engine in them and could barely hit 90mph and costed 12k new then people would hate their looks because it's a fake ass car that looks fast but is not. Ie the real definition of a ricer. But they are not slow cheap or subtle so their outrageous looks work and people love them. Same goes for the supra it's supposed to be insane in every way.

If u don't like insanity. Don't buy an insane car. Buy some "sleeper" like a buick and mod it. Or just swap a 2jz into a beat ass tercel and keep it looking like **** on the outside. Exotics aren't for everyone. And many supras have attained that status
I've ridden in a 800hp supra (and fyi- you don't need all those ricy body parts to run 800hp, you can do it on a stock car). yeah, its fun... the first couple times. after that its no big deal.

And there are TONS of high HP supras around nowadays, not really too rare anymore.

Who said "Supras are supposed to be insane [looking]"? I guess u don't understand the concept of "Clean"? Cuz this car is teh opposite. The point here is, the owner is an autob0dy guy, and had too much free time on his hands to over-work this car. Otherwise it would be very sweet.

Any expensive car is gonna be like that. You have your daily driver and weekend cars. I drive my accord for most of the boring stuff, going to movies, shopping, etc. I take the solstice out a few times a week. Maybe for a quick drive or if I am going some place I think it won't get scratched. I take the porsche out at best twice a month on days where the weather is perfect and no chance of rain.

Oh and like others I have ridden in a 800hp supra. He raced a saleen S7 and we filmed it for Super speeders 4. The supra was right hand drive from japan. The car scared me. Not because it was powerful but because at 200mph it felt like it was floating. When he applied the brakes it made me almost **** myself. The Saleen on the other hand was so smooth and felt like it was made to go 300mph. By the way the super was faster to 200mph.

Wait... is this the blue one in youtube? Wasn't it on pump gas? 800hp on pump is highly unlikely on a Sup...

I usually hear things like 550ish on pump...

800 on pump only if its running some asinine turbo on a 3.4L and even then... doubt it.

yes. I am. Do you go to the amusement park and just ride the same rollercoaster over and over again?? You're just going in a straight line... it gets old bro.

Now if the supra were setup to drift and auto-x, it would be a bit different animal, but 99% of supras are not. And this one, with 800hp would not be ideal.

Going fast in a straight line is fun... a few times.
