As an A4 owner, I'm curious which connectors you're harvesting for re-use from the VW/Audi donors. I do this sort of thing too - I've kinda standardized on the weather-tite Bosch relays, as donated from '90's Cadillacs. They're easily salvaged off the strut tower along with a healthy chunk of harness.

Feel free to keep the updates coming. Other foreign stuff I'd be interested in (that you might remember since they're not common) include Subaru Brat, Toyota Supra, Alfa Romeo, late 80's Volvo 7-series w/ 16V head.

And don't worry about Harry's Hazleton so much - dunno of you realize, but you can now search their inventory on-line.
Didn't know you could do that now. I assume it just lists what cars are there and not specific parts?

Right, but it even tells you what row the car is in. It almost ruins the "Treasure Hunt" aspect of it all!

Sometimes it's nice to find what you need and get out of there.

I had a hell of a time finding shift cables for my sunfire one time. Lucky I found some.

This is very interesting, don't think I have ever been to something like this.
I guess it pays off to have an older car!!

You call yourself a car guy and you've never been to a junkyard!?

Moderator, I would suggest an immediate lifetime ban.

LoL haha I went to a junk yard maybe 18 years ago when I had my first car.
But they didn't let me go in there and see the cars, and definitely didn't let me pick anything off the cars.
In NYC there aren't too many wide open field junkyards like the pictures I have seen in this thread

Ever since I was 18, I have always owned newer cars

Not everone on the forum drives beaters that are found in junk yards.

It doesn't have to be a beater to be in the junkyard! Nice cars get wrecked too!

You realize there are junk yards specialized just for Fords, with rows and rows of Mustangs, right?

My point was that not everyone can easily find parts are junk yards.

Midnite, you do realize I think Mustangs are turds?
