i love how everyone bandwagons the "amber turn signal" comment and decides they feel the same. . .

and rickeo, you must only track your car at all times? 100% WOT all the time? Ripping through small towns? Cause being a half inch lower than you are right now, you couldn't do it, according to you.

shoot looks good Ry, gotta love Hans' car.

Its just to low, that's my only gripe. I have experience properly aligning track suspensions and I can tell just from the pictures that the current suspension geometry is not ideal for optimal handling.

I also am not a fan of tires shoved into the wheel wells. It just looks trashy, and and that your suspension is broken... Zero wheel-gap looks best IMO, not negative wheelgap. Slammed it just looks like some ****ty civic on cut-springs.

Now, i'm not "hating" as you all so eloquently put it. This is a public web-forum. If you can't handle negative feedback, you shouldn't post.

I'm am still willing to bet that a stock Type R vs. the OP's Type R with a stock engine, both cars with the same tires, the compltely stock Type R would win. This is a guess.

Suspension design and geometry in regards to handling is incredibly complicated, and it is tuned very nicely out of the factory by the Type R design team. Throwing on coil-overs and ratcheting them all the way down so the car is sitting on the ground completely throws all that out the window.

Again, this is an opinion.

I have hurt the Honda boys feelings, I will concede.

Apparently you can't take criticism, let alone a intelligent conversation regarding the subject.

you mentioned This type r would be slower than a stock one around a track not some hypothetical situation. we can sit here and make hypothetical conclusions all day but how would that help?

point being that you made a mistake with your previous comments. you have no idea what the setup is. You dont like the car, we get that, and you're completely welcomed to bash but dont talk about something that you obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

Like i said before, if you do feel the need to bash, lets see your race-ready car since you seem to have tons of track experience.

iFunny, when he put the ukdm turn signals on, i immediately said i didnt like them. jeez cant i have an opinion without being grouped into a bandwagon? GOSH!

You're mistaking negative criticism for bashing. Hell, if the car was corner-weighted at a proper ride-height I would love it. Like I said, the ride height is my only gripe.

As for my car, its my avatar. The coil-overs (KWv3's) ride height where set by the technician who did my corner-weighting.

Rickeo, you make good points, but you are just guessing. You have no idea whats done to the suspension, the specs on it or anything. So please stop spreading your bull**** around for the younger members to read and think you are right.

BUT, I'm going to ask again, what is the point of that bolt in cage? Will it even pass tech inspection to make a 11.5 pass? This is Hanz from four.Function, right? I thought he was just a hard parker, but I could be wrong?

You said nothing wrong about the cage.. it's your opinion, it's still a cage and still will help with chassis rigidity but not as much as a stronger weld in as we all know. I don't know if the cage will pass tech at the strip but again it wasn't made for that type of racing.
