I've never liked Philly this year or last year. I will say it over and over and over again...McNabb sucks this year. He may have his injury and this or that but who's fault is this? Who's fault is it that he didn't take the time in that BYE week to get surgery? Who's fault is it that he continues to play injured and doesn't say "Hey coach, I'm hurt playing is not an option". Who's fault is it that he throws to receivers that are covered by more then one defensive person? Who's fault is it that when his receivers are actually there and OPEN, the throws are to their feet or over their head? Blame all these "mishaps" on injury but just remember he has the choice to not play if he is really in so much pain it's affecting his game.

Whatever your reasons/excuses may be McNabb sucks this year plain and simple. He might have the "greatest stats evAr!" but if I was a pocket passer and was under the same coaching as him I would be right under him. The Eagles have become a team to easily predict plays. This is why everytime I watch an Eagles game I see the defense blitz 2-3 times per possesion. The money he is getting is way too much for one player, drop him and go with someone else who is not hurt and will only cost the team 1/4 as much. And the person that said Charlie Batch > Big Ben that's fine you can think that, but in the TWO years that Big Ben has been playing pro he has proven to be at the same playing level IF NOT better then most NFL QB's. And you are also comparing someone with 8 years experience to someone with 2...give Big Ben those 6 years and we'll see how good/bad he gets.

I will bring up another fine example...how is it that Duce Staley (former Eagles RB) gets a more consistant and better running average in two years with Pitt compared to the seven he had with Philly? All I have to say is good luck to the Eagles especially coming up against the Giants...who are probably one pissed off team and fired up coming off of a loss to Minnesota.

I like McNabb, but I'll be the first to agree that he does suck this year, and he is friggin stoopid for continuing to try to play through an entire season with an injury that requires surgery.

im so tired of hearing about how good everyone thinks Ben Rothlisberger or however you spell his name is. A retarded kid in a wheel chair could run the pittsburgh offense. All they do is pound the ball 7-8 times in a row then slip in a pass, and then go back to pounding the ball. Its a great strategy and it works. They average about 40 rushes and 14 passes per game. And their passing attempts are so effective because the deffense is expecting a run play almost everytime they come up to the line. Being able to run the ball consitently opens up the passing game so much because you get single coverage with the safetys coming in more towards the line of scrimage. ANY quarterback can be brought into that system and win.

Oh yea Ben sucks! Lemme tell ya, last game I watched two guys jumped on him to try and take him down and it didn't work he still stood. This happened more then once to where the refs just had to call him down when he wasn't physically down. I don't think anyone has said he is the greatest QB EVER. It's more of he has proven so much in so little time. And I bet you anything that same retarded kid in a wheelchair would know that the Eagles were passing and sack the crap out of McNabb.

I never said that he sucked, stop looking for hidden meaning in my posts. He is a good quarterback. I cant even remember all the times that Mcnabb has shook off mulitple defenders after they grab him or how he drug a defender that was latched on to his leg and still completed a 20 yard pass. What about the play that sports writers call one the most amazing of all time when he shook off more that 4 defenders, scrambled for 14 seconds and completed a 60 yard pass.

theres no hostility in my posts. my appologies on that post, but I never said that he was a bad quarterback. I meant to say I was sick of everyone thinking he is a great quarterback. Just because i dont think that he is a great quaterback doesnt mean that i dont think he is a good one. Of course the 14 second scramble isnt going to happen alot, nobody in the NFL has done it except for Mcnabb. McNabb is the best in the league at shaking off the defense. Ben is more than capable to do it as well, he is a big guy. For anyone else wondering why I think McNabb is better at escaping than Mike Vick here is my reason. Mike vick doesnt drop back and look to pass, he looks for a lane to take off in
