Alright cool. Send me a PM if you find anything good.

2 Things:

1) Anyone who wants to help is more than welcome. I can't pay in money but I can pay in food and beer (if you're over 21!)

2) If you have or know of anyone who's got Z32 300zx parts for sale point them towards this thread, I'll need a lot of stuff down the line.

This sounds like it going to be a really awesome build. I can't wait to see what this thing will do when it's done.

I've put some thought into swapping in a Titan motor a long time ago.

dustin, are you gonna use the rear wheel steering off the 300? methinks that would be pretty hard, but what do i know?

No definitely not. I don't think it would fit because the 300zx is a lot wider. Also it'd be akward for drifting.

Thanks, Titan motors are nice as hell but they're even more of a complicated swap than the VH. I wanna say they're a different engine code too, like VK something or other.

Btw guys and girls, I worked a bunch of extra hours this week so I could get some more moneyz for my swap and I'm officially a Project Manager lol. I got my first "project" at my job today, it's worth upwards of $60K. Just though that was relevant to this thread, kinda.

Just so no one thinks that this build thread dropped off the face of the earth or something, I'm currently trying to save some extra money to get this build started. As of right now, the 240's still got the KA in it and probably won't get pulled until mid to late January. My reasoning behind this is that I really don't own another car but I do have one I can use for the purpose of DD'ing and it's F(ail)WD and I'd prefer not to drive it and also I want to get as many of the parts I need together so that I won't have to wait for parts to come in and all of that fun stuff.

On a better note, I should be getting a motor within the next week and start making some progress by cleaning it up and playing with the adapter plate. That being said, does anyone have any experience with JDM Engine Depot in Kearny NJ? (I'd prefer the experience to be personal and not the classic "My boy got and SR from there and that ish had rod knock" or stuff like that) I'm looking into possibly getting a VH from them if they'll give me a halfway decent price and all of the harnesses and that stuff.

Btw, the KA, Trans, and other motor stuff that I'm not using will be up for sale once pulled. If you think you'll be interested or are interested in picking up a KA shoot me a PM. Since the Engine and trans are still in the car you can take them for a drive and see how they run before you buy.

For the most part the engine's going to be stock with some random bolt-ons. I could never justify the cost of a Stand Alone for that motor unless it was turbo. My brother was just trying to "son" me with that post.

I know it's no walk in a park which is the reason I haven't started yet. There's going to be some long lead parts which is why I'm waiting so that they car's not down for hella forever. Btw, I'm not really saving pennies, I have a good job as a Project Manager/Mechanical Designer. But thanks dude.
