I do awd burnouts with street tires. I know if definitely doesn't hurt. my best 60's were after a burnout. If i could go around the water box i probably wouldn't do them, but i don't know. i have yet to run at a track that you can go around it.

My tires get a layer of really sticky rubber on them after a few burnouts and runs at the track. i am sure it helps.

Also, It's Fun, and that's why i go to the track. haha

I assume we're talking tire squeal on launches, and not *real* tire warming burnouts...

no, I do know what a burnout is. I drop the clutch, spin all 4 wheels untill they bite,then i roll up to the line to race. i don't consider leaving the line a burnout. lol
