i have 15% all around on the lexus and no problems at all. ive driven pass cops with the windows up and they dont bother me. usually if the slide for the sunroof is open, the tint doesnt look as dark. at night i usually just roll down the window if im passing a cop or driving by.

i used to roll with 5% on my White G 35 Coupe. And White Cars make the Tint Pop Alot more then any other car. i had no problems. but if your somewhere where your not suppose to be... at a time your not suppose to be out at. you will get pulled over. it just gives the cops a reason to. but usually there pretty cool.

i live in Philly and I have 20% all the way around, except the windshield. I have been pulled over in both Philly and Bucks County since I've had it, and neither cop even mentioned it. (also knocks on wood)

The lower number is darker. The % represents amount of visiblity.

So for example:
5% = can't see shyt
45%= not worth paying for tint IMo, becuase it's still very visible.

Hell, I have 20% all the way around and it seems too light to me.

I got my car tinted last year at Shades of Gray with 40% on a light silver car and no body pays any mind to it.

I have 5% on the rear window, 15% on the rear quarter windows, and 35% on the front windows. I've had it like this for a year and was never hassled until I went to Reading for a car show, on my way out I was pulled over and given a fix-it ticket. I'm staying out of bumble**** towns from now on.

can you prove that its medical exemption?! Cause I know someone who was wrongfully pulled over for Tint.
I'm wondering...

20% all around no problems yet.... although i do feel like cops look at the car a little longer before focusing on another car

I have 20% on both my rides, gotten pulled over 1 time but that was for a speeding incident...the cop was a jerk, then looked for other stuff to write down and i got it for my tint too. As long as you drive the limit and not like an idiot they don't care i found that out.

I had illegal tint on my other Mustang and no one bothered with me, I think its a gamble with the cops they pick and choose. its cool that you can prove it for medical reasons i never knew that! Thanks guys!

I had that form filled out and signed by my doctor, but the DMV's medical board denied me... only time I got pulled over for it I had a copy of the application in the car and it worked.
