I don't see why everyone things this swap is so great.

K swaps with bolt on's run 11's and b16/b18c1's can run 11's on stock blocks and good tunes. **** D series can run close to that, look at some of the cars Jeff Evans built, or look at the Epic Tuning civic back when it was still FWD with a STOCK motor besides for ARP head studs.

Think of all the fab work going into that swap. All the wiring. The BUILT trans you will need to handle that power, since we all know DSM trannys suck unless its built by Shep or someone similar.

I mean don't get me wrong its a bad ass swap and a bad ass motor. But all you guys talking **** clearly don't really know what it takes to build a fast honda, or to swap a 4g63 into one either.

oh wow, you drive an sti... with what are most likely bolt-ons... just like the 5000 other people in the tri-state area. me = not impressed

Its not that big a deal to me - I like the 4g63 when they run, but going from the Honda options to that makes no sense to me.

I'd much rather see a VR6 3.0L in it.
