den9, its often hard for me to tell if you're just looking for a reaction, or if you really are as ignorant as you'd like for people to believe sometimes.

Perfectly fine, but it is extremely unfortunate that people who make it their own choice to explore the unbounds of consciousness with certain drugs and practices(and I'm including things like yoga, magick, and sundry mystical practices) have to face such negative stereotyping and, in the case of drugs deemed illicit, paranoia.
Again, what is deemed the hippie movement has no direct correlation to the consumption of psychedelics. The discoverer of lsd, Albert Hoffman, was particularly vocal in regards to the irresponsible usage of these substances by the hippie crowd. Keep in mind the influence of one's atmosphere has to the individual. One can easily metaprogram one's brain into a reality set. Psychedelics unlock doors but it is up to the explorer to not only enter these doors, but to comprehend and transmit the data discovered and utilize it to hir benefit. One is'nt simply along for the ride. It's like a sailboat. One uses an outside force for change, but the direction and manipulation is up to the sailor.
Personally, psychedelics and dissociatives have provided me with paramount insight into my character and universe. Both the best and worst times of my life have come under them. And let it be known that what one considers a bad trip can be as equally insightful as a positive one. Whether or not one can handle and properly utilize these substances should be an individual's choice. And as long as this choice does'nt negatively effect another, no other person has the right to abolish or condemn one's natural free will.

excellent writing. all truth.

at one point i too experienced the best and worst times of my life on a trip. i saw things i believe we aren't prepared to see. like you said, it opens doors. words cant come close to describing it. the sad part is our society basically shuns this and my memory of it has slowly dulled down until its nothing more than a crazy crazy dream. its beat finding a whole new side of the world and then trying to fit back into this one. you realize how silly everything we do is. and it really is sad that there is hardly anyone to explain it to, since mostly everyone is quick to call you a stupid hippie. the reality is, theres so much people dont have a clue about. and im not talking about new species, or even planets. im talking about ourselves, our brains, conscience, reality, life... people are so caught up with only things they can reach out and touch with their hands, its like everyone doesnt realize theres more than that to this life. these days everyone thinks they know everything. its INSANE how close minded people are. i was the same and still am for the most part. but when you get a glimpse into a totally unknown world, you are humbled and the common denominator of your knowledge just grows exponentially

eitherway on a serious note, id like to hear your experience.

on another serious note, action park, did you ever consider becoming a writer, ur pretty good with descriptions and creativity. it would be funny as **** if every paragraph started and ended with those 93s or atleast the first and last words of the book.

just try it for yourself. try salvia divinorum. if you do it right, you will be able to try a little exploration and it'll only be for about 10-15 minutes round trip. most people never want to try it again. if your really interested lemme know and ill tell you how to do it right. its easy. all im getting at is, you cant take someone elses word for it, you just really have no idea until your experienced.

edit: yes it is for a very short amount of time, but its said to be 10x stronger than lsd (if done right)

yeah, and the great thing about saliva is that it's legal in most places

^ good point. i guess im happy its still legal, but it also kind of sucks since they sell it in head shops and give it STUPID names like purple sticky icky salvia. when a kid sees this they think ooooh SCORE lets smoke a lot of weed and try some salvia with it. and there it is, being used as a party drug lol
but thankfully, it doesnt really have a strong trip unless you do it right. otherwise i guess it will just make you feel a little funny.

im not sure what DMT is. a lot of things can make people do stupid things. like this cop for example
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnZb5wi_jsU

before doing anything, you should certainly do research.

Ah, I see Sally has come out to play. Yeah, it can be intense or it might not even work at all. It's actually one of the few substances that has reverse tolerance. Also, an extract is almost always needed and it is imperative to hold the hit in as long as possible(a quid held in one's mouth for 10+ minutes has different effects, less intense but longer lasting- very bitter!). You can buy an extract or it's actually very easy to make one yourself using plain leaf and iso alcohol. I'll note that Sally is illegal in Delaware IIRC.

And words really cannot describe some of these spaces. This is especially true with salvia, dmt, and ketamine/high dose dxm(especially k hole dose ket!!). Why? This is due to the fact that they are beyond the current scope of langauge constructs. Also, the brain tends to filter out information that it cannot comprehend. Plus, when tring to describe these things to people, how can they even remotely understand when they have'nt experienced something remotely similar themselves? For instance, describe synaesthesia(seeing sound, hearing color, etc) to most people and they'll think you're a loon even though these senses can be just as real as those encountered baseline.

Den9, yes I have thought of writing but I keep on feeling the sense that I'm inadequate for it. I have a lot to say but I think that I'm not skilled or motivated enough. Plus, the internet is an excellent medium for getting some views across. When one publishes a book, it's usually only those with an interest in the subject that buy the book. Online, I'm able to present ideas to people that they're usually not exposed to.

DMT? Well, believe it or not, everyone here has actually done DMT!! Thats right, dmt is secreted by the pineal gland at certain moments(usually theta frequency IIRc). Many feel this is what provides visuals during the hynagogic and dream states. But with external usage, yes, smoked freebase dmt(n,n dimethyltryptamine or 5-meo-dmt) can be extremely intense but not usually freak out inducing. Like any powerful substance, it is imperative to note that the user is comfortable with hirself and the potential of the experience. There is different usage of dmt in the ayahuasca brew that has been used by amazonian tribe for centuries.
But anyway, the arguement that humans are'nt meant to use drugs is debunked by the fact that one's own brain releases neurochemicals to attain different states, as well as the fact that the brain has receptors there for the purpose of recepting certain drugs. For instance the cannabinoid receptors, nmda, pcp2, etc. Contrary to myth, psychedelics and dissociatives drugs are'nt like a poison in that they alter by destruction.

True about not getting paid.
I took the name action park in reference to an amusement park in northern jersey by the same name that closed in '96. It was famous for being the most dangerous park in the country with numerous deaths taking place there as well as the nearby hospital having nearly half of its patients there as the result of action park injuries. They even had a looping waterslide, but they did'nt use it very often for obvious reasons. In fact, when they were testing it, they sent a dummy down face first and it came out decapitated! I choose it as a name in reference to my bug which is fun but dangerous. Kinda corny looking back but, hey, it's just a name.
I have no desire to do heroin. I just do not see it worth the trouble. All the opiates/opiods I've tried so far were quite boring and certainly not worth the nausea and constipation. I'd say reserve ops for pain only. Plus, I much prefer music by people into psychedelics or no drugs at all. Heroin music, for lack of a better term, does'nt really seem creative to me, just depressing.
