The entire body is allmost ready for paint. I primed the car yesterday but I was having issues with our spray gun. The primer was comming out WAY to dry. It set up allmost an 1/8in thick on one coat!!! I'v spent ALL DAY sanding it. It's looking perfect now. Another quick shot of high build tommorrow and it's ready for base coat, pearls, and clear!!!!!

Paint is complete. I am still waiting on my Aero sideskirts and Aero front lip. Also, I am painting the Volks pearl white to match the car.

Roll cage was a complete pain in the ass to paint!!!!! It's so hard not to get overspray on everything when your painting on so many differnt planes. I think it turned out well. It look like there wasn't much coverage but thats just the way the flash went off.

Also picked up a HUGE balin ass Setrab oil cooler. I'm gonna have to run an oil thermostat with this sucker

Got a new power steering tank too. I'm going to run all AN lines for my power steering.

Im with you on everything, but I dont know if those volks will look good painted the same color as the car. Might be too much of one color.
I think a gold rim (not bronze) would look best with that pearl white.

I feel like the original color of my volks is too dark. It's looks out of place on such a bright car. I have thought about painting them gold.

Here's a pic of my buddy's car. My paint is pretty much the same as his but mine has alot more pearl in it. If I did go gold, I'd go this color.

I just think a color matched pearl white rim would look CRAZY.

Dude, I ****ing hate you. If I could scrounge the funds I would totally paint my Silvia fronted coupe pearl white, and I have factory skirts. You are essentially going to have my car before me. Swell.

I would actually go with the Cadillac Gold pearl/White base, rolling on gold wheels. I was going to do my WRX wagon those colors.

i love the pearl white. i'm tossing around some ideas and thinking about painting my car starfire pearl from the Lexus IS-F.. nearly straight white colorant with a silver/white pearl. it would look much better than boring Type R Champ. White.

car's looking awesome for sure. glad to see you painted it inside and out, including the engine bay. it's so cheesy to see a half assed dirty engine bay with a nice exterior.
