That's not laggy, it's perfect. Staying out of boost during daily driving is the best thing ever. If you want a ride in a car that spools late, I don't mind giving you a ride in my Civic. Full spool around 5000ish, it hasn't ever bothered me from day one.

it bothered me
thus my evo.

Lol. Mike spooled his 35R and put 4 car lengths on me before I even spooled my car.

That's because your gearing sucks.

And hey, I bought the Camaro because I wanted some low end torque for daily driving. However, if you really want to have a quick car, you're going to need to bump up the turbo size and deal with a bit of lag. Honestly, spooling at 4500 isn't that big of a deal and it really isn't as late as everyone makes it seem if your car is set up right.

Relax, bud. When the dude with a drag Honda and a boosted daily that has had fast Honda's for years AND fabs his own parts tells the new kids on the block that they're doing it wrong, it's time to step back and learn something.

I had the opportunity to ride in Chris's car from JNZ. He's running the HTA 35r at 25 psi on pump gas. The car impressed me so much i'm considering an Evo for next year with the same set-up. For me, it would be one serious street car and would definately see some serious 10 second passes on race gas and probably high 10's on pump. This turbo spools considerably sooner than the FP 3565 i was running last year and would put it to shame as far as power out put goes.

stay away from atp kits. do your research and youll see they are no good. Im all about ets and they will deff hook it up. Stick maybe the hta3067, you could get great numbers on pump gas. good luck picking your new setup.

ATP stock flange kits are absolute garbage.
