You won't be able to gut as much as you thing. You have the various braces, skidplate, seats/interior..you may be able to get close to 250/300 without serious modification. And the fuel tank brace is fairly..well..unsafe lol

I have about 150 firmly off of my car.

well iv done a lot with weight removal in many cars and a few with GTO's, 300 can be removed with pas. seat, skid pate, and bumper support removal, and open headers (take exhaust off), but i wanna keep this thing safe and street able. Also a lot of the braces can be drilled for weight reduction but more braces will need to be added to eliminate the wheel hop. It wont be an easy task but i can be done. Also.. all of those mods are free... fiberglass (or CF) hood/trunk lid, wheels, racing drivers seat these are all things that can be done as well........ there was once an article i saw in a magazine hon how to gte a Nissan Se-R to run 12's for free
all they did was keep removing weight until it was just 4 wheels a motor a drivers seat and a steering wheel, no roof no doors no nothing.
So it can be done but hopefully i wont have to take it to that extent

the dyno i my best fried.. hopefully i can use brains to go faster

Yea, I was talking with keeping the main seats and no drilling. Obviously if you put holes and stuff it works, but the bumper supports and fuel brace scare the **** out of me. I also got rid of the mufflers

My hood is the scorpio one, which is half FG and metal, so it's also lighter by a tad.

Sorta..it's sorta modeled off of older GTO's. The previous owner put it in, if I had to have a hood, I'd have that. What's great is it ducts directly to the CAI, so it gets a bit fresher air than the stock hood. You'll notice that the hood you have on there now traps a lot of heat. It simply does not vent too well. The 05/06's really just act like heat extractors, but that does wonders.

I like the last hood, but I'd take the banshee as well. I was referring to the hood I currently have, the MPD Scorpio, and it having "true ram air" (lol) and the stock 04 hood being bad for heat.
