And no, the officer will not tell you you're going to lose your license. There is no automatic suspension for reaching 6 points more than once, it's determined by a Departmental Hearing. Also, you still need to be found guilty of the offense to receive points, simply receiving the ticket means nothing.

thats not true at all. its their decision to give you a ticket or not. if your being an azzhole their gonna give you a ticket. if your nice they may let you slide depending on what you were doing. I got pulled over the other day doing 70 in a 45 and got let off. if your polite and you can swing a little BS you'll get let off. it works every time for me.

yes. I lost it for 6 months when I was 17. I was being retarded and doing donuts in an empty culdasac, and they tried to say there were kids getting off of the bus. o_O Uh...I'm stupid but not that stupid. There were not even any cops around! They took my license on a tip...state trooper showed up to my house to give me the ticket, I wasn't even home. It was a $280 fine, and the cop said to just plead guilty there would be no points or anything. Plead guilty, paid the fine, got a letter saying if I dont mail my license in within 10 days I'll have a warrant out for my arrest. Long story short, wreckless driving, 6 month suspension. Fought it for 6 months and like right after I had lost it for the 6 months, I got it knocked down to careless, and 3 months in court. pffffft Other then that though, only been pulled over 2 others times. Once for cutting off the chief of police of downingtown in my first 240 (which was the car I lost my license in) (got let off with a warning) and once for passing a cop doing about 80 in my mustang in a 45, but he said he clocked me at 55 so he let me off.

Well thats you then. I try to be nice as possible, and for some reason, only the asshole cops pull me over.

I always for some reason get young cops, and like 99% of them always think they have something to prove.

I forgot to pay a ticket in Delaware and my liscence got suspended. Got a letter telling me it got suspended, sent my liscence back to penndot. LAte they sent me my liscence back.

Lost my license for 6 months. The cop is not the one who suspends your license, neither is the court, PENNDOT is. Why do you think its so easy to go to court for a lot of tickets and get the points dropped but still pay the fine? The points are state issued, the township you got the ticket in just wants your money so they drop it to a lower charge that way when it reaches PENNDOT no points are added to your license. When you are found guilty of certain offenses PENNDOT is notified and then they suspend your license. They will send you a letter telling you on which date your suspension will start. You will need to send them your actual license. Now the suspension may start on a certain date but they do not start giving you credit until they get your license so dont think your going to get one over on them and just not send it in.

I forget how points are taken off your license, its either 2 or 3 points for every consecutive 12 months you go without a points violation. Points can also not be added to a suspended license, therefore the day you get your license back you could also get a letter telling you now that your license is valid again, here are the points we couldnt give you before. I was so happy to be getting my license back only to open the letter to see i was also getting 5 points with it.
