Don't go there dude. You're really setting your self up against $100,000+ cars with 275/35 r compounds, fully functional aero kits, gt wings, and 500+whp built motors with huge turbo kits.

You could put my sister in some of their cars and still beat a stock g35.

Problem is, those guys with show cars certainly won't put their cars on track. They don't want to get a scratch.

My point still is, there is no need to spend that much on Takatas, when any of the other companies do the same thing for a 1/4 of the cost. Just because they are JDM, doesn't mean they need to be $1000.

I was talking about kids on my team, EMOTION. These cars are located in the mid-atlantic region of the US, not japan. You dissed my team, which is something you could never compete with in any event.

Emotion does have the nicest show cars. I won't argue that at all.

That's right RACE CARS. I really dont understand the reasoning behind spending all this money on RACE parts when most of these cars at shows here is the US dont have a single rock chip on them. And will most likely NEVER visit a racetrack.

My favorite cars at car shows are the ones with rock chips everywere, chunks of rubber all over the sideskirts and a scratched up roll cage, because you know they are doing what they were made for.

I wanna buy a set of them "super JDM" Titanium wheels and thrash the hell out of them at Road America. Just because.

My car sucks in a straight line. You don't need any of your race mods to drag race. Same goes for a show. Your car is certainly prettier than mine.

Autocross or Road Course. That is where you would "maybe" need big brakes, harnesses, larger tires.

Well I got all three. 265/35 r compounds, Pmu 355mm bbk, and takatas.

I might switch up for some endless race 6 pot fronts and race 4 pot rears, but that's the cost of most peoples cars these days and I really can't justify spending $8,000 on brakes. lol!!
