most good ebcs do, however they don't have the analog range like a normal gauge which i like...
i like seeing the gauge needle move instead of concentrating on numbers especially since they change so quickly...

contrary to what troll stated, good EBCs can really help with spooling times and with control (some better than others). But there are alot of guys out there who swear by MBC's so its really up to you to try them out

IMO either type of boost controller will work fine as long as you keep the lines (vac to bc, vac to wastegate can) SHORT. mine run less than a foot and I have zero creep.

Chad definately seems like a stand up guy. It's a shame that it is soooo far away from us in the NJ area.

:runs off and looks for used UTEC:

PS: I have vids of a few pulls if anyone knows where to host them.

Snapped a few pics while I was there, but mostly shop stuff, so I won't post that. Here are a few of Ash's car.

Saw this on the way, knew it was going to be a good day.

On the rollers...

Did Ash mention the RSX we saw? ;)

ok so here is teh story. it's mildly enjoyable, so sit back, pop a beer/soda, and read...

Sooo, i was on my way home from getting tuned, and i wasn't even out of York yet when some ricey looking rsx with decals and a fart can revs on me like he wants some. So at first i'm thinking 'bah, i'm not going to waste my gas on that guy' (nothing against rsx's of course, just against ricey stuff) ... and then when he blew by me in the right lane, i had a chance of heart, figured i'd test out the new tune and blow his doors off.
So i get around the traffic and pull up along side him, he slows down, and we go from a roll (we never broke the speed limit, of course)... and instead of blowing his preverbial doors off, i just about kept up with him! and as i was doing so, i heard that all-too-familiar whine... yes, folks, that emmer effer was supercharged!!!!!1!1!1one!1!!
hee hee - he was really cool tho- we rolled up to the next light and apparently he had over 300hp bla bla bla- but then i felt good that i kept up with him, although i am not convinced that he was really trying...

That story reminds me of how things use to be back when I first got my car. Except it was backwards. I would rev at Mustangs and they would just plain out ignore me. A couple times they even told me they didn't want to waste their time... even when my car was solidly in the low 13's on pump gas. Then mid 12's and still the same. It's only been fairly recent it seems that those V8 guys are starting to get edumacated.

I have to admit to putting on stickers on my car, too. But that was in the mid 90's and only lasted a week before I peeled them all back off.
