Being single after so long does suck. You are use to that one person, being with the one person, and knowing what makes that person happy/sad. My biggest suggestion is (if you are a nice guy and not an asshole). Don't get into a
"rebound relationship" unless you are sure that the other party understands that it's most likely going to be just for sex.

Sucks to hear, but its life. I am single and love it...I havent dated nearly at all. One night stands are a different thing. I dont mean to be an asshole, but i hate drama and the whole "going out" thing just never made sense to me.

Well I would of worked things out but thats just me. There has been plenty of times when my girlfriend and I have been far away from eachother and yet still made it work an we been together for 4 1/2 years. After all those years I wouldn't want them to go to waste. You do STILL love her right?

i do love her but the fact that this has been going on for 2+ years now has worn me down, i want a normal relationship for once where i see the person and can talk and do all the fun stuff couples do, not too see eachother maybe once a month or 2 if im lucky.

I don't blame ya for the long distance things. I've tried them before and they don't work at all. I've been out on a few dates and i've encountered busy women who have no time, ones who don't reply to me, ones with a couple screws lose, and ones who pull out the F word-friends. Take a break and go out and have fun. After that, just keep hammering away and i'm sure you'll find someone eventually. I've learned that the video games, cars and sticking driving women are out there. You just need to look a little more indepth for them. If you can't find one, find one who at least respects all three of them and who will put up with them.
