ive read articles that said eating 2 or 3 meals a day actually creates an insulin shock to your body and makes you store fat. try the 5 or 6 meals a day thing and make sure you have the right proportions of protein to carbs, fat, ect. also try taking a multi vitamin. it may sounds like bs but i swear by it youl feel a difference in your workouts and results. by the way f u decide you wanna bulk up your diet will need to change i can hook u up with some meal plans that worked well for me when i was into it, and should for you to since were both in the ecto-endomorph body type category. try reading The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding by arnold. its not all about mass building theres alot about nutrition and setting up a meal and workout plan thats right for you.

vitamins are a good tip too, b/c even the one little pill a day can keep your body from using the other stuff for purposes other than building muscle and maintaining energy

there was a statement i read before that $3 billion dollars of healthcare costs could be removed if people took a vitamin everyday

Well he did say no supplements. I think that is a mistake myself but hey. I take right now Fish oil, Arginine, Multi vit, Red yeast Rice, Co Q10, Taurine, Milk Thistle, Vit C, and Protein Shakes. 3 a day.. Oh and digestive enzymes and glutamine. I also cycle Creatine.

but I have to agree with the 5-6 meals per day. You will not be as hungry and it keeps you metabolism working. also if you eat the correct carbs your insulin level will be kept at a good level so you will not be starving or exp lulls during the day where you are very tired...

BULK BULK BULK SOME MORE. You've got a lot of bulking to do.

The important thing for you right now if you want to get ripped is to hit the gym hard, and take in at LEAST 150grams of protein per day, every day. Get some whey, I know you said no supplements, but at 24grams/serving with water alone, it's an easy way to get high protein. Once you get some mass, you can cut and get ripped. You're at the point where you can lose some fat, but NEED the muscle more.

Yah James you got that mass. I can't seem to get that thick... I have read the rules and it is nuts. But when I was 180 I put up 405 so not bad.. To much stress on my shoulder so I try not to lift that heavy anymore. Plus I only hit the dumbbells. Try and stay away from the straight bar.

And yah lifting with a bad thumb not the best idea...

Oh and finally looked at the pics. My suggestion is to start a lifting routine. You are pretty lean but your proportions are off. You should start with allot of core exercise give somewhere for the muscles to grow... So Dead lifts and squats pull ups and pushups. Get your core strong. That will start a good foundation for you to grow on. I know you don't want to bulk up. The core is the most important piece to grow anything in my opinion whether it is abs or any other muscle group. And you need to eat. Supplements are not a bad idea either.

If you are young, then you are lucky. You can get your metabolism kicking in high gear in no time and start toning. Listen to these two I have received advice from both James and Andrew and neither have steered me wrong yet. See for yourself:
High school (very diesel, somewhat flabby):

More recent shots: (more slender and slimmer in the face):
