If people think the insurance for a young kind on an STI is bad, I would hate to see the monthly insurance payment for an S2000, M3, and NSX for a 21 year old!
Well, the odd thing is, if they were all in his name, and he could afford them, why would he have them on his parents insurance policy to begin with??

I live under my parents roof, pay my own car insurance, pay my own car payments, pay my own gas, etc. etc. I buy my toys, and I buy them because it's my money. It isn't my parents place to STOP me from spending money, they can only offer advice (which is to save more money).

I just thought that this thread was funny because he claimed that he bought all of his cars himself, and than comes out saying that his parents won't let him buy an NSX.

My parents have a ton of money, but I was never handed anything. The one thing that they gave me, which was worth more then anything, was the knowledge that should I ever be in trouble, they would be there to bail me out, and I have never looked back.

I have more toys then I have time to list because my wife and I worked our asses off, and we value them more because of it.

MPowerKai: im just curious.. when thanksgiving comes around every year.. what do you reflect on? ..because at 21, if you're complaining because you can't buy an NSX to add to your literal FLEET of cars, you have some serious soul searching to do my brother.

things could be worse. way worse. be happy for the royal flush you've been dealt in life..

sorry, but add me to the no sympathy list

So you can't buy an NSX... Does it really matter that much? Throw the money in some investments that will more than quadruple over 15 years and then you can spend it on whatever you want.

What do you mean, he clearly said, "it's not like they are paying for it." (to add, I have no problem with parents buying kids cars, just a problem with kids who claim that they pay for things themselves when clearly, they don't).

Ok so what I would do is just keep working on them for it. Really why is so many people ready to jump on this dude for something he wants that his parents wont get him. If anything people should see that hes lucky. And also should see things from his point of view. At least hes doing something with his life like going to school and working instead of just doing nothing and saying "I want I want". Sometimes its just easier to live with your parents and work for them i guess, instead of working for another employeer. Anyways Good luck dude. Maybe you should buy a SUPRA?? or a car like your dads and see what you folks have to say then.

The "I live with my parents because I'm in college" card doesn't really work too well in this situation because you have so much disposable income you could easily live on your own.

Your original post is looking for sympathy or something but I don't think your gonna get too much here... I think your original post is really just saying to most of the people who read it is "I wan't more attention because I'm rich and wan't to hear from everyone how bad they wish they were me"

Nobody posting cares that he has money (in the negative way), the above just sums up how we feel about his response to "not being allowed to get an NSX"...

Being thankful for what you have is one thing, whining and being a spoiled brat gets you nowhere though......
