Has anyone bought a Tactrix cable yet and tried anything with the open source ROMs? There's not much out there in the way of tuning maps yet for the 07. So far I know that taking the values from a Stage 1 map for an 06' and copy them into a copy of my ROM that I read off the 07. I don't feel the need to pay for AP if I can avoid it. I'm basically a set it and forget it kinda guy so I'm looking to buy a few parts and tune it and be done, stock turbo just turboback, intake, tuning, and small stuff. Should be good for low 12's the way the 07 gearing is performing.

PS until my snow troubles I was looking at an 06 leftover GTO for 29k brand new...but alas only autos are left and I guess AWD is now my best bet.

ive been doing good... vette hasnt seen bottle since before august. but other than the 30k miles in 6 months its been doing good

HOLY CRAP! 30k miles in 6 months!! My god thats like doing the Gumball 10 times! Yea, I don't think I could afford beater insurance and plus I like driving my car all the time, I don't have the self control to have a beater.

Trade in most likely, too many little paint chips and crap that I'd have to take money off for selling it privately. If I trade it in they can finagle with it to get me the deal I want, I'm shooting for $550/mo.

just wanted to give you some help as far as dealers go. iv never been to the cherry hill dealership but i have been to quite a few. its what i do when i want to slack off instead of working. i found the dealership in mt holly on 38 to be friendly, rafferty in pa where i bought my sti was good, pine belt in pt pleasant or brick twp or whatever that is was straight.
it doesnt really matter though cause if they see dollar signs there gonna kiss your ass. and if i were you id be on autotrader.com and dont be a prick and take your wing off they look so stupid without the wing. i get my balls broke all the time but i keep my wing and i love it. it definately gives the sti its character
