While it is a little too low for my tastes, I do agree that it looks clean and simple. Maybe some mk2 wheels such as snowflakes or teardrops would be up your alley. I picked up a set of teardrops last year for $50. Even a set of BBS basketweaves would be badass.

its really not that low. if it looks low i'm probably cheating on my steep driveway or something. i only have a 60/40 cupkit. i'm not looking for cheap wheels necessarily. i'm looking for wheels that would keep me happy for a pretty long time. i really like the borbets.

Compared to some other cars around here, it is defenitely not really that low. I guess i'm just not a fan of lowered or slammed cars. Count me in for the stock ride height club. I would recommend Tire Rack for wheels.

hmm thats a sexy mk3. i see less and less mk3 vr's on the road anymore. i've always wanted one myself but never seemed to be able to stray from my hondas.

im really like the borbets though. my friend had them on his mk3 (g)etta, lol, and it was dead sexy.

very sexy car. any more pics of you?!?!?!?!?! lol

i can understand that. my bf hates driving it cause its lowered. and tire rack has nothing i like wheel wise in a 15/16.

thanks, right now the borbets are my favorite choice. i need to get a pchop of them on my car too. and gettas don't exist! haha, i don't like when people say getta, jti... i dunno why. thanks for the comments and sorry, no more pics of me.

I love the car clean as ****!! I can tell your doing the car right if your hanging out with the Girl that owns the20th. I was in the vw scene for a while and used to chill with a bunch of guys from the DCI. Im looking to get a MK2 and put my vr motor in it. anyway VR6 FTW!

the girl with the 20th is my sister... and thank you. i believe she used to hang out with the dci crowd, but shes living in florida right now, actually coming home today to visit. and mk2 vr6's are sweet!

and a friend donated these to my project. my gti didn't come with a glovebox... i dunno what vw was thinking when they didn't give us early mk3s gloveboxes.





i should be picking up a polished intake manifold in the next month or so and i dunno what i want next...
