to me i would just do other stuff before cams. and im assuming this is a gs/rs.

i just started to read this thread.... all im gonna say is take out the wing "grafiks", tail lights and rims out... sell them to some lil kid on ebay then buy new rims and stock wing.

GS 5 speed. Yea, it was cammed, the dealer i bought it from, was sellin' it for a guy that worked there, and he had all the reciets and proof of tune and stuff, so i made sure erything was done rite. Im thinkin of buyin stock tails and shaving the middle, itll go good wit the red. Or the CF altezza's

You don't have to shave the middle. What kids do is paint the center tail light the color of the car. I think I have a pair of all red stock eclipse tail lights, let me check.

There are still gains to be made either way. Granted on an N/A car the factory manifold, with a precat, might choke the cams off. People with similar cars as me, with full bolt-ons, have gained about 10HP from adding cams. No alot, but it's something.

It depends on the car. For my motor, which does not make much power with bolt-ons, after a header cams probably produce the most HP. I also paid about $100 more for my cams then what I paid for my header. Plus good friends = free installation.
