As for the Desert Eagle, I just love the punch that it has in a small package. lol.

I have a Beretta to shoot, so that takes car of the normal handgun. Need a big boy. haha. I'm not much into rifles or anything like that, so handguns for me.
Small?! I think my Mateba .44 mag is smaller...WITH compensator

you should get a FiveseveN. police loooovvve them. well, at least I love the dirty looks i get from them when i have it at the range ;)

if you have no training id say get something with a safety. law enforcement dont use one cuz they wanna draw and shoot. just becuz u have a safety doesnt mean u dont have to use it. anyway a glock or smith and wesson are your best bet for price. if you have alot of money a hk would be sweet. my choice would be a glock 26 9mm with a pinky exstension (sp) and a hk usp compact 45

heres a 27 .40 same frame as the 26

Deagle? Small package?

How can you classify that thing as a small package?

thats because almost every handgun manufacturer suggests that you don't use realoaded ammunition. I think it voids the warranty on mine.

That was pretty much my point, any gun can freeze up with cheap ammo and/or reloads. I don't know why people use them in such expensive guns as I have seen them used in

Yea, I don't plan on carrying this thing around everyday.

I'll get something smaller for that later.

Classic pistol is in southampton and target world is in montgomery county by hatfield (not sure what exactly its considered)> There are a decent amount of ranges, open up the yellow pages.

Did you actually buy it without shooting it first?? Just curious...Nice solid first gun BTW.
