3k rpm's? thats seems extremely low especially for a domestic with 4.10s. i know with my 4.7 final drive im at 4500rpms at 60 mph i know were talkin two totally different cars her but it just seems too good to be true to be sitting at 3k rpms at 80mph with a stock 5 speed mustang tranny

I know, thats what I thought too. I was going to put in 4.30s but I figured they would be to steep. But with the 4.10s I'm seeing about 3100 RPMS @ 80.

And judging by your old motor's dyno, all your power comes on hard after 3k. which means you would be REALLY strong from an 80mph roll. That comes in handy.

Yes, all stock long block - just a header, big (huge) injectors, ported VF22, Ecutek, full exhaust, and a JDM STI TMIC. I'm looking at doing a 2.5 swap and an FP Green, gunning for 400 whp on pump gas.

I also have the car for sale, either to get an STI, or go back to V-8s...

4.10 gears are awesome, especially with your trans gear ratios - I had 3.55s in my last Mustang, an '86 GT, and it had stock T-5 gearing (3.35 first) - first was pretty much useless...sucked. 3.73 or 4.10s with that trans would have been a waste.

Yep, you saw that correctly. I was actually reluctant to post that graph because of that.

#1. The 4.10s help down low. But #2, again, that guys tune was jacked. Kevin from Wicked Motorsports believe it or not, was able to get the blower to start boosting at about 2100 RPMS....now that was a huge difference in the way that car felt.

The big problem a lot of tuners are having with my car, is that these new models are controled "throttle by wire". They have like a lag in response time when you get on the throttle from factory. If you can tune that 'right, the car is ridiculous responsive.

LOL. 1st is still a waste for me...its almost non-exsistent. The second I let out the clutch, I'm pushing it back in to hit 2nd. I can just start in 2nd if I want lmao.

That's what I'm wondering - complete change of vehicle subject - about my Dodge Ram 3500 (Cummins) - I want to race it, there are guys on street tires in the 12s with these big things, but I have a 6-speed manual - most drag race guys are running built autos.

First is worthless altogether, unless you're starting out with a loaded trailer, and when you take off it second, it takes about 2 seconds to hit redline (3200 rpm)...argh.

The Holden Ute basically idles at 80 mph, and its basically the same thing as a GTO. Thats amazing.

Don't know where you heard that from, but no it doesn't. My friend Drew (Docewww) has an 05 GTO, and trust me, at 80mph, its no where near the idle rpms.

I must be mistaken about the similarities between the Ute and the GTO. But the Ute definitely does. They had one featured on Top Gear. That car is rediculous.

Oh, and here's my graph...on my 2.0 engine (stock internals) and smallish turbo...

Yeah, I'm soooo unhappy my real saab with it's real saab engine that has to be physically restrained in 1st and 2nd gear to keep the torque from shredding the tires. And it's so unreliable, what with me having to get under the hood to change the oil a couple months ago. You can tell you've got a wimpy subaru engine by your lack of torque.

Whatever, this isn't the thread to debate your lack of knowledge about SAABs.

Nice. The new dyon graph is what im waiting to see. I still cant believe the engine poped that soon. You are gona need some big, big tires. I had 373's in my RoushS3 and i thought it was perfect. any bigger would have been a pita on the highway, and first gear wasnt to short. The 410 was way to short for my liking. Had Moser everything in that car to.
The wagon...fyi, its an Auto. A MT would be OVER 500awhp NO problem. Once the rain stops , we will get some numbers from her.

Very, very nice. Yeah, I cant wait to get her back on the dyno when everything is all said and done.

OBEE...maybe you are right about the Ute...I know nothing about them in all honesty, but I know the GTO doesn't so that.

Lack of torque in my Saabaru? I'm over 300 ft lbs...bring your Saab 9-5 to the autocross course, we can stop bickering and settle this like men...

At 4 grand, a real saab is rockin by 3000. ;) SAAB's are torque monsters, that's what they do. If you knew saabs you'd know this. :P

I'm just messing, you've got a nicely modified SUUB. :P I may take you up on that race sometime, you'll probably win, but I'm always up for a good competition.

This is my stock 2.3 with it's TD04 15G turbo, see torque.
