Nice, what wheels/tires are they?

That pic angle is messing with my eyes to tell if they are 18's or 19's.

I have winter tires on the oem 19" wheels. I'm wondering how they well they'd plow through the snow if I got the OE springs. I believe I'd need some spacers to do that anyway. How has the ride quality been with the OE Springs compared to stock, now that are settled in?

Ride quality is good, s4 was never the smoothest.

18x8 enkei with 225-45-18 Michelin Pa3. Total weight is 40 each compared to 52 of the oem wheels

I'm actually leaning towards getting coilovers myself. What made you choose the stasis coilovers?

Want just the right stance without a compromise on ride quality like the cheaper coilovers

If they ride as good as the h&r I will be happy

Gotcha, I think I'm getting the Bilstein PSS10's. Is there a reason you chose the Stasis package over them? To be honest I haven't read much on the Stasis. I'm looking for some wheels myself. Thinking about the VMR V810 or the Forgestar CF10's.

heard of issues with the pss10's making noise but it seems there is a fix

i just wanted something that i drop in, set to my ride height and ive never met someone with ohlins suspension who has complained

the only downside is stasis says they require maintenance every couple of years, i will just bite the bullet and fix them as the time comes

took advantage of the detailers domain sale and picked up some new detailing products

sonax -perfect finish
sonax- polymer net shield ( i am testing this out on one of my new m510's to compare it against the wheel spray from armor all
sonax- full effect wheel cleaner

also picked up some new pads and a wheel woolie

EPL

tune for 1200, pulley was 200 and i can get a cable to remote tune/flash to 100% stock at any time

Good deal, that's actually interesting with that cable. I didn't know that was possible with the current tuners. I'll have to check into that.

Tune should be beginning of March and planning on throwing it on a dunno late April

Yeah I'd definitely like to meetup to see the difference. Is it just an engine tune or do they offer DSG software as well?

Currently no dsg tune but from everything I've seen the dsg tune should be in the future

That's good news! I'll definitely hold out for that. I want to drive the car a bit longer before I do a tune...just to make sure there's no apparent issues.

Installed the ohlins coilovers today

All I can say is WOW!!

installed the pulley this past weekend, slight improvement in low end power but of course the factory ecu does a good job of keeping it all in check

the install was pretty easy and for $225 including the removal tool i would say its a no brainer if you dont plan on going with giac or apr (they charge the same amount just for the removal tool lol)
