difference being that 90% of srt-4 drivers will say "i drive a neon" because we realize we arent driving caddy's.

on the other hand ask a honda driver about another type of sport compact and you hear "its just a neon", "cheap interior", etc, etc.

sorry. honda's, especially civics, are basic commuter cars(just like neons,sentras,imprezas,lancers, or what have you),.. preludes are a little sportier but theyre far from god's gifts to cars,.. and certaintly no better than a spec v to be giving one a thumbs down. just stating the facts of the matter.

Man, thats lame. The only time I'll give someone a thumbs down is AFTER a race, and if they were being d1cks about it, or being dangerous, whether they won or lost.

A few weeks back I had an older Vette, gold with a body kit, I merged onto the GS Parkway, and I always accelerate coming up the ramp cuz its easier to merge, and he must have seen me... pulled up along side of me...and his buddy waved and screamed "bye bye loser" at me, and tried to pull away.

Needless to say, I downshifted, and he didn't pull away, and I ended up passing him right by. He looked pissed and wouldn't get bakck next to me.

A Prelude isn't a POS by any means. They're very nice cars. Im not saying they're fast, but definitely very nice

Oh i completely agree, its definitely not the kind of car you go around and give people the thumbs down in. But IMO no car is. Gotta have love for all tuners. I know you weren'y tryin to offend anyone tho, figured id just throw it in there

I hear ya. Like I said, not too many times, but there has been an occasion or 2 where I gave someone a thumbs down or something to that effect.
Like one guy I was racing on NJ TP. After killing him like 3 times, and pulling way ahead, I slowed to and gave the signal that I was done, and I just kept crusing. Well he and other guy got into it and thought I was still messing around, and he came flying up on the right 3rd lane, and if it wasn't for me paying attention....when he cut over, he would have hit my whole front end or the car right in front of him in the 3rd lane. I had to hit my brakes to let him in...but he was coming over whether I did or not, and thats the crap that pisses me off.

which goes back to my statement about many honda owners having delusions that their cars are faster and/or have nicer interiors than any other cars in their class :shrug: (and some cars WAY OUT of their class)

before this starts a ruckuss.. im talking specifically about kids like the one this thread is about. buy a car, throw on a muffler or something and act like its the most luxurious, fastest race car on the road.. unfortunately this subset of honda owners far outnumbers the people who actually have done nice work to make the car fast or whatever. these people even seem to almost match numbers with those who dont care about any of this and just drive the cars around to work or whatever.

Well my car is slow as hell, and the interior is in good condition but not nice, the only thing power is the mirrors and sunroof. When im driving a bmw or porche or anything along those lines im still not going to drive around giving hondas and all that thumbs down. Maybe u quoted the wrong thing or something, or u just dont make any sense. Either way it doesnt really matter

I don't know why this has turned into a honda owner thing. It's just a coincidence that the idiot drives a honda. If he were driving a 360 modena, he'd still be in idiot in a nice car. I'v seen um all. I had a guy in a porsche 996 GT2 tell me he though my car was beatifull. Then I'v had a person driving a ford tarrus tell me that "I shouldn't waste my time with slow ass imports". Idiots come in all shaped and sizes. Not just in honda's.
