My silver wheels are VW reps, and they're 5x112. I'm not getting rid of any wheels, though. I don't have any SAAB wheels right now. SAABs, as well as the Cobalt wheels, are 5x110, FWIW.

Got the Cobalt SS wheels on today. I apologize for the crappy iphone pics. Better pictures this weekend... I'll have my brother shoot a few with his 60D.

Also, don't mind the popped hood, slightly flat tires, and pics only on one side (pics from other side look even worse with the lighting).

The offset is pretty bad, at least in the back. Needs spacers. But IDGAF, and don't want to spend $9825784 on a few pieces of metal and some bolts.

Thanks, it was actually down there from CT with the previous owner. I bought it from him August/September of last year.

I love the look of your car with the gold wheels on Merlot. It looks great!

Yay for pictures progressively getting better. My brother had his camera with him, with a 50mm on it. Snapped a few pictures to show off the Espresso Black paint on the wheels.

Put my summer wheels back on. Put the proper FPR (3.5 bar, which the tune calls for) on it on Sunday before Easter dinner. Didn't seem to lean out my AFR at all like I was expecting. Kind of skeptical of the GlowShift wideband that's in it.

Well. Carlisle went REALLY well for me.This is how I had to get her home:


Something happened to the transmission. She puked up all of her fluid onto the clutch and out onto the ground. Oh and this happened on my way to Carlisle. Clutch starting slipping at the BOTTOM of the last mountain I needed to cross. I limped her there, though. Need to pull it out and see what the real issue is and what the cause was. I have a spare transmission sitting on the floor due to my preexisting 2nd gear grind issue. I'm going to use this opportunity to either rebuild it or have it rebuilt for me. Not sure what I'm going to do yet. I'm going to take this opportunity to throw a LSD in it, as well. Again, not sure what I'll do as a brand new Quaife is big $$$, so I'm trying to track down a Cobalt SS LSD.

FINALLY, I got the transmission out. More or less what I expected.

Gotta buy a new clutch disc. When the case broke the piece of metal wiped it out. Gonna go with a full face factory Viggen disc and get all drivability back.

New race rear mount. This should feel much nicer than the failed and deformed rear mount that I took off. Oh and a little CNC'd keychain action haha. Got new sway bar end links as well since the last ones were rusty and one snapped when turning the nut off.
