Okay fair. However I did work on it last week for the first time in two months. I think that counts. Haha.

Picked up some mint Sti wheels. Only downer is they are silver. I love how they look but I think I'm gonna get them powder coated gold to give them some pop. I pulled off the weights and balanced them and they took next to no weights and are strait like they were brand new.

When I put them on my car was slammed. I loved how it looked but when I drove it I got a slight rub (already had my rears rolled). Raised the rear a tiny bit as well as the front and gave it as much negative camber I could with the stock bolt as I could. Didn't have time to really play with the plates. The long drive home didn't seem to rub at all.

Anyone local wanna buy my bronze Rs wheels? Will be selling them once the sti wheels are gold which I may drop off next week hopefully.

I agree powder coating the wheels gold/bronze would make it look very nice. The silver is kinda bland imo.

I still like them in silver, too! Gold would stand out a little more though against the black

Black and gold always goes together great. Trust me I heard it all day at work today how good they looked. Still think gold is the best way to go. Hopefully I can get them done next week.

Yeah I really like the stock look to them. I'm not sure if I was more exited for the new look or the fact for the first time ever I'd be running a 225 and not a 205 tire. lol.

Just a slight update since it's been pretty quiet.

Last weekend put in clear amber lenses, put back in stock bumper lenses, and pink stars badge.

Today finally installed an sti gauge cluster

And also picked up and installed jdm version 8 sti seats

Next Saturday getting the new engine tuned so I guess I should throw in the engine this week. lol

Removed the misfire goblin.

Put everything together then found the second misfire goblin. Think I got them all out.

Yanked out my motor last Tuesday before work. Old and new. Had to transfer a few things and figure out a clean way to run my grimmspeed air oil separator.

Engine in and hooking up things on the bottom

Oh hi...

Here it is running nice and strong

Only thing I'm working out now is a cam code. Wondering if the silver cosworth bracket I bought is the wrong one or not. Everyone I see is the old gold or black. Haven't come across a silver one. Hopefully I can figure it out fast.
