I want another but I don't want to spend a lot of money...in the sub $350 range, what's decent and not huge? I'd love this, or something that looks like this, but at about 1/10 of the cost (but not an exact replica)

Anyone do watches?

I've had two Marc ecko watches within the past 5 years. Now I'm wearing a guess watch that my gf bought me for my b-day. Figured I wanted to go more casual and simple

No need to get defensive, Mike. We're going on what was given to us. It looks a bit feminine to me, too, but it probably looks different on your wrist. Points if your lady bought it, too. That's less cheddah you have to put out for it.

Not being defensive, just stating what it said. She did buy it. Means I have to dish out some good $$$ for her b-day lol

I don't really understand rubber bands. I like them when they are blended into the case like this.

If you change the band on that watch to something more like the below, you'll add a ton of appeal to it. Do something like an Oyster and it will be a new watch, you can wear it as casual AND dressy. Here is a Seiko SKX007 on an Oyster (I wanted to get this bracelet but I like my Jubilee too)

Take it to a watch shop so they can get you a proper fitting bracelet it won't cost a ton. Just my .02, if you like it, rock it.

I don't do expensive watches. A digital Timex with a stopwatch and an indiglo does the trick for me..

A couple of my watches have rubber straps. It's definitely a different look...a little sportier. I dig it for certain occasions.

As far as Movados go (someone said this before) I used to like them a lot until I realized they all look the same and are way too expensive for their appeal, at least from my eyes. I'd own a very basic Movado watch but only one...and only if I could get it authentic for ~$150.

I can honestly say i've never liked any Movado watch...atleast for men. I've seen several that look great on a female wrist. That's about it. I won't say they're overpriced and that is strictly based on quality.

Picking up another watch next week...this time on Tag's dime, since they LOST a watch I sent in for cleaning. Luckily, I wasn't too attached to that one.

funny you should say that. I see a lot of clients that come into my work with very nice watches on. Yesterday I complimented a man on his watch that looked like it was from the 70's. Turns out it was a Movado. They actually made nice looking watches back then before they went all generic looking.
