Not a bad looking car. hopefully you bought it as a certified pre-owned. If you were still looking to get into a mustang, we have an '05 torch red gt 5spd with only 25k miles on it and a magnaflow catback at my work. Older lady traded it in for a corvette

It wasn't really buying a car to buy a car. After all the issues i've had it pulled me away from mustangs in general "no offense to other mustang owners". My fiance has a 08 G6 GT and I am extremely comfortable in it, so when I saw this one that was loaded with heated leather and what not and has the same 3.6 LY7 thats in the G8 and Camaro I thought to myself win! I have had a couple friends in them and they're actually impressed by how well it runs. I just need to get rid of tq managment at WOT

you just bought the first mustang you saw and did no research on what to look for thats where you made your mistake, not the (Mustangs) in general population just the one you jumped on right away! An air bag light is and was not that big of a deal honestly, It was an easy fix as it was probably a fuse or relay that went bad. Again any car you buy you should have done the research on anyway... but have fun with your current car. I let the guy (culater) on here know you were interested in possibly having a tune and he said you never contacted him!

^what he said, my airbag light was on recently and found it was recalled by ford for the v6 and the gt, they fixed everything for free, did you look into that?

The air bag was a corroded sensor up under the dash, got the car back and when we had all the rain I ended up with 2" of water on the passenger side floor and it was coming out of the heater box and down over the wiring harness and all. No thanks on a car thats gonna be all moldy and have corroded wiring.

cool. yea the 05-06 mustangs had a bad window moldings and replaced them via a TSB, and put the 07-up mustang molding on, $50.00 fix.. but research would have told you that!! Not starting **** just a word of advice. You gave up on a car because you had no idea to look into things before you jumped right in. on s197forum we all gave you advice on things what to look out for with that model year and you asked for advice on it and you dove right in without (assuming) you didn't look at the problems and the fixes

RWD is no big deal to me honestly. All I would end up doing is just burn the tires off of the thing. Being back in front wheel drive I can stay a lil calmer haha.

I am finally starting to work on getting a plan together for exhaust parts for it to.

One a hot day in August when my '08 GT was stock it ran 13.5@105 MPH with a bad(2.1) 60' time. My car also has almsot every factory option you can get except for auto trans, navigation, and 1000 watt stereo with dual 12" subwoofers. I've seen other '05-'09 GT's that ran 13.1-13.3 100% completely stock. You souldn't need ET streets and gears to run a 13.5.
