has anyones rotas here snapped all the way around on the hub? mine sure of hell havnt. ive never seen or heard of anyones doing so also just by driving. they are perfectly reliable unless they are on an f1 car flying around the track. they are a cheap alternative to those who cant afford retarted expensive wheel setups. hop off the band wagon

Well sorry I couldn't be on to reply to all these stupid childish posts.
If you didn't notice in my plans for my car I'm not getting "JDM" wheels.
Perhaps you should read before you come in here trying to jump down my throat.
How in the world are you going to try and change someone's personal preference?
Where they do that at?

To the op: there is really no point in arguing with the sheeples on this website about real wheels because, simply put, they don't grasp the concept. Any part of it. I tried, failed and got over it.

It's like going on b20 and telling people to stop selling stolen parts, they would all go insane but, in the end, they know the truth.

Just don't listen to people when they tell you something that they don't like or want to hear. It's just the way 90% of TST rolls.

Now I'm sure you'll you'll jump on the bandwagon that they break, are junk etc....

A few good points from another forum:

If you hit obstacles in the road, your wheels will suffer, plain and simple.

They have an internet reputation, because they are cast wheels, supposedly not being as durable as forged wheels.

Though Rota is known for being the king of "knock off" wheels, they're a good alternative to the wheels they are knocking off. Not everyone can afford to put up the cash for real Volks, Mugens or Spoon wheels.
i dont have a problem with buying rota's cause i understand the whole not being able to drop XXXX$ on wheels but i hate how they steal their style's from other companys. which is why greddy/trust went out of business not to long ago. its the same thing with aero and ebay parts.

Trust (Greddy is a Trust brand) didn't go out of business, they filed for bankruptcy, which allowed them to restructure their business to become more profitable. Their financial issues were caused by more than knock-off parts as they were also OEM supplier to some companies, but as the economy went down the tube so did car sales, which hit them pretty hard.

Sorry for the off topic.

See I know what I prefer.
I would use oems before I ever used rotas again.
I'm saying that Rotas are a great alternative and are not junk.
And based on the pics of your cars you posted, apparently you prefer steel wheels a majority of the time.

They're wheels and need to be styled certain ways in order to fit and be structurally sound. You can only have so many different designs before sooner or later someone's will be similar or copied.

Never seen a fake SiR front end and I don't see the point of a RHD conversion other than to deliver mail or you're going for some major JDM fan boi points.
BTW, speaking of fake and how you prefer the real deal, you have EK9 in your name, what's with that?
You currently own or have owned an EK9?

B20's a joke of a forum anyway.

The few threads I've read on there seem like they're either written by idiots or someone with a third grade education.

Back on topic guys :-). I wanna see the hello kitty headliner installed that was talked about in another thread. I think Julie would like it since she wanted a Hello Kitty themed HHR SS.
