Maybe the alternator is going bad? Not getting the proper charge to the battery?

I put new battery terminals in the mustang last night, hopefully going to give it a jump start tonight and drive it for a bit. When I park it I may disconnect the alternator to see if that is actually draining the battery.

Jim my assumption came out of left field so I don't really know if that's the case.

i wouldn't really think the alternator would drain the battery like that. My bet is a circuit or relay not going to sleep properly. If you determine it's a ground somewhere, probably a good idea to get a big 3 kit. I mean, it couldn't hurt to have one anyway, but yeah....

I bought the battery on 1/21/13. Took the battery and alternator into Advanced auto parts to get tested. They said the battery has a dead cell in it, so they gave me a new one under warranty. They tested the alternator and said it wasn't outputting properly so I bought a reman from them. After coupon and core charge refund it was about $160. Lets see how this holds up.

Hope the weather is nice this weekend.

Oh, and I'm down a pound a week without dieting. Just not sitting at a desk is a great thing. All my clothes not fitting sucks though. Gonna have to spend $$.

clothes not fitting because of a pound?

you'd be surprised how much water weight is in your body. even if you dont diet and start drinking just water, you'll loose weight

before it was near motor. I tightened up the collectors as much as I could so the leaks stopped there. Now it sounds like near the collectors and motor.

Pound a week, he's down like 7-8lbs since starting his new job. And nah he doesn't drink his water its always left in the fridge.

So glad the weathers finally seeming to stay half decent.
