I'm going to get up on the roof and snake from the vent first. If that doesn't work I think I'll have to snake from the kitchen sink trap to get down into the main line. We've had some settling recently so putting two and two together maybe a sewer line leak is making water which is causing settling. That would be awesome.

Actually I've already had one. I'm going to a dif person this time but last time they made it absolutely painless. Long procedure to keep mouth open for but it's really not bad at all since it's a specialist.

I agree with HickRocket. I have had 2 rootcanals in the past. Both were painless and i felt nothing. The only strange thing is sound from the drill. It is easier than a filling and painless.
