Jul, when anything comes anywhere near my 9 month old niece's mouth she goes, "om nom nom nom". No lie. It's fantastic.

gotta make plan's though... n/a or boost... i could spend 7k boosting the engine reliably and retain warranty... or i could spend 7k and build a motor to drop in in a few years when the warranty is up.

can get a used 4.6 block for a grand or two and start with that and do it a bit at a time... more of a learning experience too

wouldn't hurt to have the extra motor, just in case

exactly. i'd rather build a block over the next few years and have the spare stock motor than to boost this one and have it blow in a year. though... i would retain factory warranty having brenspeed install it haha

dunno what i want to do. i think it'd be fun to tinker with a motor since i've never done it before. at the very least buying stuff for it and researching and having someone build the motor

yeah, that sounds like a better plan if you got the cash. Buy the extra motor, build that one up, put it in the mustang.

same block... but yours is a 2 valve correct? you could probably, and easily upgrade to a 3 valve head

either option would be costly... i love the sound of the saleen super shaker though... and 420(ish)whp is more than enough for me. but... its more about doing something with the car. i'm not sure if i want to be "done" ya know?

Such a nice day wasted. I was supposed to hear back from a guy about a potential job, and he wanted me to work for him. There is a habitat for humanity kind of thing in Maryland where they are looking for people to help out in different trades, and me being in the plumbing trade, he heard from my mom who was at the same job fair he was at, was looking for someone. Well, she gave him my number and told her that he would call me today. Figuring the work day is almost over, I'm not going to hear from this person. I guess he isn't that interested in looking for people if he can't hold his promise and call them. So I wasted my day sitting by the phone waiting for a phone call. I could have gone out and actually looked for a job instead of waiting.

yeah, i hear ya. like with my hatch, i've pretty much done most of what i can for a n/a build for it, minus a full blown ITBs setup, stand alone ECU, and dry sump conversion. But, i'll probly never do that, since i do want something else to work on (am not going to touch the mugen).

i'm still up in the air for what i want to try to get eventually and build up. I'm still leaning towards hondas, but, either a s2k, or a 91-92 NSX.

Yeah mine is a 2v, and most people would just do a 4v swap. I only have 2 more things I really want to do, then I'm pretty much done for the most part, plus a couple suspension upgrades.

you know, after ken was talking about putting headers in his stang, i took a look at my durango, i could put a set of headers on, without even have to lift the engine at all,

Jackstands, dropp the steering rack, and install heads. Kens install should be very siminiar to the GTO header in stall, but I'm no 4.6 expert.
