I just went to pick up some print work and saw:

Not very clear, but the car had multiple NJ State Trooper stickers and license plate frame. Meanwhile there is a whole empty parking lot behind him.

Ugh. Weld Draglites all the way around for $450, plus whatever the shipping may be. $50 is a ****ing steal especially with lugs.

That's such a tight spot. Is it leaking at the collector or near the motor?

TGIF. TX2K13 dyno day is streaming live on Youtube today... on hightechcorvette's channel.

My boss is so unbearable sometimes. He's so condescending and negative. The most condescending person I've ever met. I don't think he does it on purpose or realizes he's doing it, but holy crap.

Jim, I have a feeling he just couldn't get in there. I know there are shops that will not do long tubes for the mustang due to what's needed to happen to get it to work. Or they would charge stupid labor.

I had on that was the same way. I remember one time that it was me and him in our stores ware house (worked at hhgregg) and we were both looking at something on one of the racks, and i looked at him, looked back at the rack, and said do I not see something that's missing or out of place? He just said no, went back to looking at the shelf, and I was like ok well bye. He was such a douche. I later quit after that after he gave me **** for taking a lunch when our truck came in. Sad part on his end was he had done it in the middle of the store where everyone could hear what he was saying. I was like **** this, i'm out.

^ Yup. Sounds about right. It sucks because I actually enjoy my job and what I'm doing and actually like coming to work. Everything is good except for my boss. Lately he's really been making me feel like finding a new job. But it is what it is for now.

Also, there is no longer a live feed at the dyno day. Apparently the dyno got messed up. And I heard they were moving the feed to the other dyno, but they haven't put it back up yet.

Edit: Live feed is back up. Mullet's GT is getting strapped down right now. Yes! Not sure if this link will work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGT0H...ature=g-subs-u

I've been anxiously awaiting a phone call since an interview on Tuesday. I had a feeling it went well since I was there for 2.5 hours and talked to 4 different managers/dept. heads and met "the boss" (all good signs usually lol). About an hour ago I got the "we want you to join the team" call. I'm beyond excited for this job... if I wasn't pudgy and out of shape I'd probably attempt to do a celebratory back flip, but in my current state that would probably end up with me in a neck brace in the ER.

You know when you get a job that's dirty, exhausting and generally not fun but it pays the bills, and eventually the day to day physical exhaustion makes you not want anything to do with that industry anymore? Then you finally get into a company that hires you because of your expertise and experience in the field but the job is actually clean and not physically exhausting and allows for enormous potential for growth in a massive nationally recognized company. Yeah, it's kinda like that.

The funny thing is that it's a pay cut from my last job, and is much less than I've been making doing side work while I've been unemployed, and I really don't care. This has potential to turn into something resembling a "dream career" for me, and the fact that it's doing something that I really love to do far outweighs the actual numbers on paper.

That last paragraph is the way you have to look at it. You have plenty of time.
