ISO 400 isn't that high and you were shooting in bright daylight so, I'd hope there wouldn't be that much noise.

If you can spot noise at 400 ISO then you've either got some good eyes or a ****ty camera.

As much as I hate shadows on these kinds of pictures I liked it on this one. I actually thought you added them in post because of the way the shadow lays out. Did you use a slave?

Here's a new picture from last night. Let's ignore the editing stuff for now. How is the composition on this one?

My only thought is I could have tightened it up a bit at the bottom and on the sides. I think the top is ok and the car relative to the background is in a good position. Again these are only my thoughts and I am open to critiques.

I'll also add the data from the exif information. Maybe this will help you guys help me with things as far as aperture, shutter speed and iso suggestions.

Exposure Mode: Manual
F-Stop: f/4.2
Shutter Speed: .3 seconds
ISO: 900

I did shoot a few pictures beforehand using the aperture priority and then played around with it in manual. I knew with it being dark I'd need the largest aperture I could get, I just toyed a bit with the shutter speed. I can't tell if the picture is grainy or not. If it is that means the ISO was too high correct?

I'm sure you mean composition and not composure, being as composure is a calm state of mind or appearance.

As for the picture, speaking solely about the composition, I don't like that the roof is cut off on one half and not the other. You could've sacrificed some space at the bottom for more space at the top. But composition is subjective, so..

Thanks for the reply. I'm sick so my spelling and use of the english language is suffering apparently. I did edit the post and yes, I meant composition.

I see what you mean about the roof. I'm not sure if I'd be able to fit the roof in and have the same image as far as the tightness of the picture. But I didn't try either so I don't know. I didn't intentionally think to cut off the roof I just sort of framed it with the top of the piece that says "Picasso". Will keep the roof in mind for the future with other pictures that might land me in the same situation. Anything else?
