Yea it will be real soon. Got the motor and trans in today. New motor mounts are welded up. Just odds and ends now.

Its a little further done then whats in the pic.

added a racepipe on the speed6 yesterday..
cleaned the rotors on the fd for the spare motor.. ordered the bearings for them too..

Got my massive power steering leak fixed, tried to redo my SAFC harness, realized I threw away my soldering iron. Gonna get a sunroof panel from somewhere, mine is finally starting to rust.

^ that sucks. Tonight im going to replace my coolant reservoir and try to dismantle and clean my upper intake manifold as well as my oil metering pump system...its going to be a long night tonight.

I'm been hearing more and more OMP issues with series 1 rx8s...so it can't hurt to take it all apart and clean all of the lines out. I'm sure in ~88k mi's some buildup has formed.

realigning the cbe this weekend on the speed6 as its hitting the stock surround..
eliminated the OMP and added the oil pellet on one fd..
new noltec motor mounts.. prolite flywheel.. rear main seal.. pilot bearing and seal.. retorqued tension bolts.. resealed the oil pan on the other fd..

OMP is Oil Metering Pump, it injects oil into the rotor housings to lubricate the rotors are they spin. Here is my dirty OMP:

Been awhile. Cant remember what I posted in here last and im to lazy to look lol!

But my build motor now has 1600miles on it. STill breaking it in but driving it like a reg. daily driver now. the GT3071R is nice. I need a tune badly. Imstalled a new/better headunit so i can run off my iphone. Carbon Fiber fenders in my basement i MIGHT install. dont know yet due to the flaws but I do plan on tracking it... Ordered a trailing link and trailer arms set so I can run wider tires in the back and it will be better adjustable. I still need tune like i said already but not being able to go on the gas the whole way sucks cause I hit fuel cut. hm... thats all I can think of for now. But today I installed the headunit
