so i went out and took some shots today in RAW format (First time) and wanted to give HDR a try and played around with Photomatix Pro today used a braket of 2.0 so exposures where taken at -2.0, 0.0, +2.0 and i liked messing around with the program

However when i go to save the file i can only save as .tif, so i did, opened it up in Adobe PS and tried to save it as a .jpeg so i can upload to flickr acount since they are a lot bigger then 10mb they are like 70mb?

How do i convert to .jpeg or shrink that file?

Thank you

Jspek you do work... haha

EDIT: IM an idiot and figured it out in photoshop...Lost alot of quality converting to .jpeg

My First HDR Shots

You got me wondering tonight. I went and tried to take some pics of the moon. I have never tried before. The wind was blowing pretty hard and the 50-150mm was like a sail on the tripod pointed to the sky. Slightly blurry.

That came out pretty sweet, what were your settings?

Its adobes program that is strictly photoediting.

If you really want to break down adobe, they have several different programs that mostly overlap eachother

Adobe InDesign/Illustrator -- Both work with graphic design. InDesign is more layout, Illustrator is more text and line oriented.

Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom -- Both are photoediting. Photoshop is more manipulation/creation while Lightroom is photoediting, presentation.

Obviously here, one could argue that program x could be used for blank better than program y. It really comes down to your personal preference. This is my breakdown being a graduate with a multimedia degree. I have worked with all the programs above, and more. I would say, personally (remember, just my opinion), these are adobes more mainstream and widely used programs.
