Ah, that's who added me.

Thanks man, definitely keep checking my 365 set, there's plenty more to come.

I can't wait to see more. I'm actually only a few days behind you in my 365 (on day 19) and I'm having a good time so far. I got a camera a few months ago on a whim and I really hope doing the 365 keeps me going. I get frustrated and won't pick up the camera for weeks at a time. But I've been pretty motivated so far.

SvicksTc watch your focus, it's way off on that flower. unless you wanted the more interesting flower in the foreground to be out of focus?

I was going for focus on the flower in th back to blur the foreground probably not the best idea but I was trying different focus to keep learning how things look

Shooting RAW gives you a ton more data when doing post-processing. Not even really a contest. JPEG is a lossy 8-bit file, RAW is a lossless 12-bit (or 14-bit in newer cameras, or 16-bit in medium format) file.
You will be able to recover blown out highlights and underexposed shadows that will never be recoverable in a JPEG. You can also change white balance in post-, and in general editing RAW files is a lot cleaner than JPEGs.

If you'll be doing a lot of editing afterwards, the color temperature is changing a lot, or even are just shooting scenes with lots of dynamic range (bright bright areas, dark dark areas), shoot RAW. If you will be doing editing but dont want to take up that much space, shoot neutral JPEGS. You can always bump up contrast/saturation later.
If you'll just take the file out of the camera and print/put on the web, JPEGs are great.
