yupp..and all i said is its unfair to compare the miata to a GTI. But if your talking just raw numbers, motor-motor the miata makes a little more power with lees mods. I think thats what Cneon is saying..which i agree with. So end of discussion.

They are really fun to drive, thats why I got mine, plus the tiny turbo helps a lot. If I had more money at the time I would have probbably gotten something else but I am glad I didn't because I grow to love my car more and more every time I drive it...just can't wait for Spring to roll around again so I can put the top down.

I agree with Neon...ive had a LOT of cars, but my miata always pulls me in. I just love driving it. Though as Neon said, a small turbo makes it even better. Hopefully i'll be in that club soon

I like Miata's... They're cheap, fun, relatively well balanced, covertable and the most important thing is that they're REAR WHEEL DRIVE (FTW!)

Im going back to this real quick
there is more to making power than the size of the motor. Just an example a 350 chevy crate motor can range from like 300 all the way to like 650 hp. Thats all on the same size motor. many things factor into making power so you cant just say "well his car is only makig 200 hp on 15 lbs of boost while mine is making 200 on 9". compression comes into play. the heads make a big difference, and the cams. like. There is so much more than just "psi" that regulates how much hp a motor will put out

Yep, but since it takes more work for the VW 1.8t to make power, I consider them turds....well maybe not turds, but not all that the owners hype them to be.
