A witness, Lisa Eklund, took pictures of an aircraft similar to the one described. It was near her home on Saturn Drive in Fort Collins.

The Weld County Sheriff's Office says the boy was last seen two miles south of Evans, near U.S. Highway 85.

Reports indicated the helium device was never intended to fly. It was reported headed south and east.

i'd hope so. and i'm def wrong about him being in the side that is drooping... i'm watching on my comp and it keeps buffering and stopping, so one image it look like a body was dragging it down. now it just looks deflated.

fortunately it's leaking helium... unfortunately that thing is ****ing moving quick. if it hits the ground at that speed the kid is in for some hurting. what they need to do is get a copter up high enough above it with a dude on a rope (i'm thinking chick norris) to hook something to it, make sure the kid is alive, and cut the balloon to deflate it all the way and lower it slowly.
