Ugh and now I have to find out who the **** installed Heather's sunroof since it seems like Hyundai outsources to someone. My dad says go through insurance. I say make them pay for it.

That sucks man. I'd fight tooth and nail to get them to pay for it. If the dealer doesn't I'd contact Hyundai themselves and see if there is anyway they can look into it.

Well unfortunately Heather doesn't know if it was done directly by Hyundai or if it was outsourced when she got the car. Apparently they had a car she liked but it didn't have a sunroof and they said we can install it for you. Well she isn't sure who did it. So I have to call the service manager today and find out who did it.

Morning. So Heather's insurance said she would pay the deductible for now and then once they find out who installed it, will get them to pay and then Heather will get her money back for deductible.

Possibly yes, unless they actually take it seriously in getting the company to pay for it.

Thats how I did my accident when that guy hit me. Just claimed it on my own and once he was found at fault after the police report and traffic cams vids were viewed... my insurance refunded me my deductable and got reimbursed by the other guys insurance.

Rob, I believe this would be considered a comp claim?

They will. It will likely go to their subrogation department.

What you can do, I didn't konw this at the time my car was painted badly, is demand the dealer give you the information for their insurance because as a result of the work they did your car is now damaged. By law they have to give you the info and file a claim with them and hope for the best.

Got my check for the accident. I pulled the majority of the dent out, so when I get home I'm going to try to buff out as much as I can. I hope it comes out well.

We have each other guys.

I'm seriously pushing the Trailblazer SS idea to Heather for when we eventually get rid of her Tuscon. Probably next year.

We were scared away by the whole getting maybe 12-14mpg but they are really neat cars. Def look into the Sabb 9-7x aero also. Its the same car as the TBSS but slightly nicer.
