What kind of headers are on it now? Shorties? If yes then go Long Tubes. Don't do springs. Talk about stiffening up your ride.

Morning everyone =] It was nice to be able to stay in bed this morning and not have to brave the cold air in my house - sleeping with a ceiling fan on year round is kind of torturous at times lol. Hope everyone has a good day today! I know I'm planning on it - IHOP for breakfast, returning my leased slowbalt to the dealership then, oh... you know, just picking up my new car!!!!! haha, only slightly excited.

I'm already catless and have a catback so headers will be nasty loud for a DD. But I would love the extra HP to go with it.

Short shifter is $350 plus shipping. I want the GMM one because it is one of the few that still use the stock shifter and boot.

I have stock exhaust mani. I don't think they are long tubes.

My current go fast mods: LPE GT2-3 cam, used 243 heads off an LS2 with new LS6 springs, ported TB and LS6 intake mani, KNN cold air intake, IAT relocate, catless mids, catback, and tuned.

Is this just a car you want to be a fast daily with? When you switch up to long tubes you are going to need a different midpipe along with it.

I already have JBA catless mids that will bolt to long tubes, atleast most brands.

It's a DD. Thats why I'm worried about how loud long tubes can be.

Long tubes will make it a little louder but not that much louder that it's not tolerable.
