speaking of classes, i can't wait to start up my mma classes again. need to get back into fighting shape

Thank God, no. 5:15-6:00. 45 minutes is just the right amount of time; 12 5-7 year olds have very short attention spans.

yeah, i remeber trying to teach martial arts to 5-8 year olds. and when they did sparring, or hitting of any bags, it was a nightmare

It's a challenge. Little girls are especially hard; there is always crying.

SiR... i'm sure its been discussed but i'm not going to go back and try to read this thread... whats your avatar all about?

and on the subject of being in shape... i've been busting my ass at the gym and eating right the past 3+ months and have been putting on weight slowly but surely.... about 15 lbs so far. got my wisdom teeth out last monday and was on a liquid diet for 7 days and no gym... lost 7 lbs. not cool. worked out last night for the first time and still put up the same weight i was before though which was surprising but good. now i just gotta make up the lost ground, argh.

i remeber we had this little girl who made the boys cry. for her size, she kicked hard.

yup, taking it slow first, just once a week.

and, if my body doesn't hurt so much, might be more

i'm stoked though. the thing is, i'm also going to be helping out with teaching the ground fighting parts

my issue isn't the eating part, it's the working out part.

when i was hardcore into martial arts, i floated around 160, and fought at 155 or lower.

now, i'm just shy of 200. When i was in japan, i was around 190, and dropped down to 180 for tournaments for brazilian jiujitsu.

i was also lifting weight alot in japan as well. it was boring, but after about a month, i got bored if i wasn't lifting weights, and i was happy with the results i was getting too

No story. It's been my avatar for a while other sites; I just think it's visually pleasing.

I wish I had to go to the gym to gain weight. I'm pretty good at sitting on my fat ass eating and packing on the lbs.

yeah, SiR is far from fat. she's much closer to awesome!

i used to be in the military, and i was stationed at Atsugi air base (about 45min train ride from yokohama). i was there from Feb 08 till May 09. I hated it there. not japan itself, but being in the military while in japan. if i was visiting there, i would love it to death.
