Tell me about it. The last 2 winters I've had a Subaru just waiting for a big dump of snow.

I just find it halarious when trucks and cars are stuck on the side of the road and I go cruising past in the Vette. You know they gotta be pissed.

Do side window deflectors stop rain from coming in if you crack your window?

I actually gotta go to the in-laws since I left them my snow blower. I just wanna start it and run the tank of gas out, drain the carb, put some stablizer in it, change the oil, and make sure its stored properly so it fire right up when it is eventually needed.

I had them on all 3 of my scions and the Chrysler 300c. All kept the rain out. I'm not sure how the ones work for cars without window frames like the wrx and mustang

My solara has frameless windows. I used to have the deflectors on the car but took them off for the look. It did keep the rain out as long as they weren't opened past a certain point

Its not even that SUV's are better in snow or not, its an issue with ground clearance for me. The Talon only sits about 3 inches off the ground under the chasis, whereas the SUV sits about a foot. My point being, that even with great snow tires, if it snows more than 2 inches the talon isn't moving anywhere. That was my thinking with the SUV.

^ With good snow tires, you will plow through WAY more snow than you think. I just have all terrains on my Talon, and the only thing that has stopped me is ice. I'm not lowered, but nonetheless.

Exactly, mine is lowered, so driving in it is simply not an option. Not to mention mine is a fwd not awd.

Lol your right. What time you want to go?

On a side note... My landlord is a real piece of work... Scheduled a guy to come between 130 and 3 and the dude still isn't here yet. We call her up and she keeps acting like its no big deal. I'm sorry its 35 degrees outside and I'm freezing my ass off with no heat. Guess where your rent money is going if he doesn't show up in the next hour? To a TRUE professional to come and fix it.
